KÖZ-Pont Youth Association has been working for the development of young people since 2001. Get to know our story, our team and our work.
Since 2001
In 2001 a group of friends decided to found an association to support the local city student council. From this grew a regional youth organisation of national significance that reaches thousands of young people every year.

The first logo and emblem of KÖZ-Pont Youth Association (formerly the Association for the City Student Council) featured a snail figure. It was based on the association's idea that our organisation moves slowly but surely along the path of development. According to another anecdote, the snail shell symbolises that it is always good to come back here, that is, to come home.
When the Association founded the Snail Award (Csiga Díj) in 2008 along these lines, the then leadership was guided by the aim of recognising those who help the organisation on this path, and those it is always glad to welcome at its own home.
In 2009 the Association changed its name for professional reasons, and the form of the award changed too – from then on the award itself shapes the old snail figure.
